Clara Schweers’ practice explores the fusion of traditional crafts with the possibilities of digital spaces. For this collaboration with Du Ciel, she focused on the intimate art of bead-making, using glass to play with perception. Clara sees glass as a ‘fourth wall,’ distorting the line between craftsmanship and illusion. Each bead, especially the red, became a challenge and a discovery—like learning a new language.
Crafted from silk, this handmade string offers a gentle and soft touch, with the added convenience of strechty straps. It includes one adjustable onyx pearl and can be worn either as a low waist of high waist option.
